Dossier on Demand File Transfer

Once viewed on-screen all reports may be either printed, emailed as an attachment, or exported to the designated network directory and then downloaded locally via the Dossier On-Demand web portal.  Attached are detailed instructions for using the Dossier On-Demand File Management web portal.

To Save a Report from Dossier On-Demand

View Report on-screen, click the Export button , select what file format to save the report as.

When the following warning appears, click OK.

If a Restrictions dialog box appears, click OK.

In the File name:  field type S: and then Enter on the keyboard.  This will open your customer folder.  Select where you want to save the file, enter the File name, and then click Save

Once a file has been saved successfully to the Dossier On-Demand server, log into the Dossier On-Demand File Management web portal to download the file to a local drive.

 

Connecting to Dossier On-Demand

 

  1. Open web browser.  Type https://dod.dossierondemand.com in the address box of your web browser and press the <Enter> key. 
  2. Click on the Log in button.

  1. The 1st security screen displayed is to log into our Network.  Type your  User ID and New Password and click on the Log In button.

 

  1. From the Dossier On-Demand Home screen, click on the Manage Files button.
  2. From the Manage Files screen, click Upload and browse to the folder location for uploading the files, clicked on the Add button and either drag and drop or browse to the file location and then click Upload.

 

 

  1. Once uploaded successfully, log into Dossier.

 

Attaching a Document to current item

After the file(s) have been successfully uploaded to Dossier on-Demand, in Dossier select the Document tab of the form to attach a file to and click the Add button.

When the Restrictions dialog box will appear, click OK.

A Locate the External File dialog box will appear.

  1. In the File name: field type S: and then Enter on your keyboard.  This will open your customer folder.
  2. Select what file to link, and then click Open.  The document is added to the list on the Documents tab. The document is assigned a name, which is the file name root.
  3. To save the attachment, click the Save button.
